The Molsheim Christmas Market opens its doors!
In the heart of the city center, the Molsheim Christmas Market opened its doors on November 30, to celebrate the holidays in a warm and authentic atmosphere. Until December 22, artisans will reveal their know-how around activities, original products and seasonal flavors... To transport you into the magic of Christmas and the lovely Alsatian traditions.
Inaugurated like every year on the Town Hall square, in the presence of Santa Claus and Saint-Nicolas, the Molsheim Christmas Market offers a program rich in activities and events for everyone. Spread across several emblematic places in the city center, talented artisans unveil a very fine selection of local products and Christmas decorations.
Whether on the Place de l’Hôtel de Ville, on the upper floor of the Metzig or even at the Espace Saint-Joseph, you must visit the different counters to discover a wide variety of delicacies, and in particular the amazing artisanal creations products such as manneles, bredles, christstolles or bereweckes…
A magical medieval atmosphere
Parades and torchlight procession, sound and light show, epic fights will be among the highlights of these two exceptional days, which are also a great opportunity to taste rustic dishes like lard or wild boar on the spit…For a very authentic gourmet break!
Molsheim Christmas Market Program
– December 8, 2024:
Arrival of Saint Nicolas by carriage from 3 p.m., for a distribution of sweets. Carriage rides in the city center and musical entertainment at the barrel organ will add a festive touch.
– December 14, 2024: Medieval Christmas of Yesteryear show on the Town Hall square from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., with knightly entertainment to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of medieval Christmases.
– 15 december 2024 : The Christmas of Yesteryear continues with medieval activities, processions, sound and light shows, for a unique journey into the past.
-21 december 2024 : The Week-end group performs a Christmas concert, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., on the Place de l’Hôtel de Ville.
–22 december 2024 : Arrival of Santa Claus in a carriage accompanied by his elves from 3 p.m. for photos with the children and a distribution of sweets. A Christmas concert with Fabyien will also liven up the city center.
– December 24, 2024 Meet at 5:15 p.m. for “Let’s sing Christmas under the tree”, followed by a burning of the Metzig, which will close this enchanting Christmas market.
